Beauty haul and reviews!

Hey guys!

I've been so so busy especially for the past 2 weeks planning something major, exams, uni and all but I'm back now.

I got some skincare, hair-care and makeup reviews for you guys today...


1- Flake Away body polish and the righteous butter body butter

In the past I have used the breakfast scrub from soap and glory, I loved the smell when I first bought it but then I don't know what happened to me I couldn't tolerate the smell at all even though it was a good scrub it got rid of my dead skin and left my body so soft and smooth but I couldn't get over the smell it was just unbearable I thought it was too sweet for me so then I came across this scrub from soap and glory it has there Original pink fragrance which I freakin' love!!

I have been using this for the past week so I have only used it three times but I love it. It got rid of all my dead skin and left my body so so so soft like a baby's butt!! And I've definitely noticed some improvement with the little black dots I get on my legs that are so annoying I can't even explain how annoying these are... but I've seen less of them since I started using this scrub I'm hoping it'll get rid of them all if I continued using it!
I highly highly recommend this scrub!

I also got the body butter from soap and glory and this is the first time I use a body butter from them, oh my oh my what can I say about this product! I use this after using the scrub it says to use it onto damp skin but I just can't stand the feeling of it so I use it after I dry body and it leaves my skin so smooth and the combined scent of both the body butter and the scrub makes the smell stays on for so so long.

2- No clogs allowed mask

It says to wet hand and scrub until the mask heats up and turn blue but I find that it doesn't heat up unless I'm scrubbing and it doesn't turn blue either. It didn't get rid of my blackheads also but I find that it leaves my skin super soft and clean (everywhere else but my nose, weird!)

Would I repurchase it? I don't think so but it might work on others differently I don't know.

3- Rausch haartinktur hair lotion

In looooooveee with this product! I genuinely love this... I have been using it for about two weeks now everyday on my roots and I'm def seeing some hair growth (baby hairs) I cannot imagine after using it for so long what will the results be!

This combined with the Isvara shampoo works beautifully on my hair!

Would repurchase again and again and again!

4- Make up forever HD foundation
 

Looks natural when applied with a beauty blender, blends beautifully, gives a dewy finish but after two or three hours my face becomes oily again so I have to retouch more than once through the day.

5- Winter candy apple shower gel

The smells absolutely delicious but too bad the smell doesn't stay for long I think I might need to get the lotion as well if I wanted the smell to stay on me for longer. It makes my body so smooth as well. I really like it but I wish the smell would stay on for longer. 

6- L'occitane Angelica Hydra Vital Cream

I was in the hunt for a new moisturiser after my michael todd moisturiser ran out so I got this from L'occitane, its just a normal moisturiser for me nothing too major but I find that my skin goes oily when I apply it so I'm not sure if I like it or not.

Violet box october 2014!

Hey guys,

It is time to unbox the violet box :)

Wotnot facial wipes for oily/sensitive skin

I received this in either bellabox last month or the parcel not sure but I don't mind receiving it twice, who doesn't like facial wipes they always come handy specially because I travel a lot and I always need facial wipes with me on the plane or in my luggage! 

PHR Professional Haircare Recovery leave-in-moisturiser 

I was glad I got this, my hair is not in a good condition right now so I needed this really. I'm trying lots of different products for my hair and this will come in handy. I love that it has natural ingredients too! 

Designer brands lip pencil 

I haven't tried this lip liner on my lips yet but when I swatched this on my hand I noticed that its creamy and so easy to apply and I love the shade I got (Fuchsia Rose) 

Designer Brands Eternal Colour Lipstick

I love the shade I got (rose brown) it suits me perfectly and it is very creamy. I loved this product. 

Haughty Cosmetics Perfect Finish Lipgloss

I got this in pull it together, beautiful orangy/red colour, not bright and not dark. 

This brand is a U.S brand that I havem't heard of before but I really like the lipgloss it's not sticky and feels good on the lips. 

Eslor Introductory Collection

This includes a soothing refiner and cleanser, firming collagen day cream, botanical peeling gel and chlorophyll lifting mask. Haven't tried anything from this brand before but I'm super excited to try the botanical peeling gel and chlorophyll lifting mask! 

So yeah that's all I got.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this month's box.

Bellabox october 2014

I have just received my bellabox yesterday so decided to do the unboxing today! 

So finally after two months of subscription I received my stuff in a box! 

I love the colour, its just so pretty to look at! 

Lets get to business,

1- Kester black for bellabox nail polish - ruby tuesday

They say its long-wearing, chip resistant and 100% vegan. I didn't have the chance to try it yet but will let you know how I like it once I do.

2- Rimmel apocalips

I loved this lipstick, really loved it. Unfortunately, I have received it like this. Opened and I don't know if its knew or not so I won't be using it but will def get a new one because this is the thing I loved the most in this month's box!

Look at this colour, oh my god it is amaazing! 

3- MOR hand cream

Haven't used it yet but I have the scrub in the same scent and I love it. 

4- NIVEA stress protect deodrant 

This mini deodrant will come in handy when I travel ( I travel a lot! ), so I'm happy that I received it.

5- Modelco skincare

I have used them all yesterday, I definitely noticed that my face has been less oily today but it might be because I used a new toner today. I don't know really! 

As bonus I have received this Pantene shampoo and conditioner but actually I have received the same shampoo and conditioner from the parcel by marie claire. So I have tried it before but didn't like it that much. 

Overall, I was impressed in this month's box but was disappointed because of the lipstick.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Powder Foundation Review!

Hii guys...

I've been trying some mineral makeup lately and one of the things I stumbled upon is this Tarte amazonian clay full coverage airbrush foundation $36.

So that's what they say:

Seamlessly brush over imperfections with this waterproof, weightless powder foundation that delivers up to 12 hours of natural-looking, full coverage for a flawless, airbrushed appearance.

Ok so I've been using this foundation for the past 3 to 4 weeks and I'm loving it, it is now my go to foundation but..

Full coverage? No.

I would say you can build this up to a meduim cover maximum, it doesn't cover scars or veins. I only had this one scar and its not that bad I tried to build this up but no it couldn't cover it so I had to use a concealer to cover it up. 

Other than that it does what is says, lasts 12 hours? I would say yes. I had this on from 7 am until 12 am and it still looked flawless and I only had to powder my nose once even though I have super oily skin! 

I just love the lasting power of this, its rare that I find a foundation that keeps me matte for so long.

Airbrushed appearance? Yes, yes and yes. I love the final look of this foundation. My mum got this after she saw how flawless and airbrushed it looks!

ما اشوف ان اهو فول كوفر مثل ما مكتوب عليه اكثر شي ممكن يوصله ان يكون ميديوم كوفر مو اكثر .. يعني اثار الحبوب مثلا او حتى العروق مايغطيهم .. بالنسبة لي انا زين لان ما احتاج تغطيه وايد بشرتي مافيها تصبغات ولا حبوب او اثار الحبوب الا وحده ومو وايد تبين ف ماتفرق معاي :)
الي تحتاج فول كوفر ما انصحها فيه

مكتوب ان يبقى على البشره 12 ساعة و معاي اي بقى حطيته من 7 ص الى 12 ص و ما اشوف ان تغير او تحرك او شي ما احتجت الا اني احط بودر مرة وحده و بس على خشمي ... انا بشرتي حيل دهنية ف استغربت ان فيه فاونديشن ممكن يخليها مات طول هل مده!!

واحلى شي فيه ان لما تحطين مايبين انج حاطه شي على ويهج نهائيا!!! الفنش حده عجييب

How I apply: 

I use real techniques buffing brush and buff the foundation into my skin. This gives me a really flawless finish.

اشتخدمه مع فرشة البفنق من ريل تيكنيكس بس سمعت ان الفنش مالته تصير وايد احلى مع فرشته من تارت ف قلت بشتريها و بشوف اذا في فرق ولاا لا

My friend told me it applies even better with tarte airubuki bamboo powder foundation brush so I might get the brush and see how it goes.

Beauty Haul!

After a long tiring trip back home, I'm back with another blog post. I have been shopping for the past couple of days. I'll be showing you some of the stuff I got with mini reviews, I hope you enjoy this HAUL!

1. Chi Chi Super BB cream

I got this from Myer in Australia. This is a BB cream from ChiChi Cosmetics, the thing that drew me was that it contains Caviar extract, also it has an SPF of 30 which is always good especially now that I'm in a very very hot place with the sun above my head most of the time :) 

خذيت هل بي بي كريم من استراليا, الشي الي شدني فيه مكتوب عليه ان فيه كافيار و هم في حماية من الشمس خصوصا ان بالديرة الشمس طول الوقت فوق راسنا :) ! 

I must say this is the best BB cream I have used, especially because it stays put for about 6 hours even with the very hot weather we have here, I touched up once after 6 hours and it lasted all day on me. 

P.S I have oily skin!

هذا من افضل البيبي كريمز الي استعملتهم .. ثابت , ضل ثابت وماراح لمدة 6 ساعات يمكن و انا اعتبرها معجزه بما ان جونا حيل حار و شمس و هم رطوبة بعد!! 

It give a nice dewy finish, if you like a matte finish you can always use a finishing powder.

2. OPI nail polish

I have got this from the airport in the shade  "Mod about you"

I love this shade especially when I'm tanned, it does look good only on tanned skin in my opinion.

3. Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer from Benefit Cosmetics

So after my fifth tube of the Benefit porefessional, I decided to try something new and this 15 hour primer from Benefit caught my eye!

This primer really makes my makeup last all day, I glide this on my whole face and then rub it so that it covers my whole face evenly. I love love this product, I'll be switching between this and the porefessional because I just cannot not use the POREFESSIONAL!

4. Delice de poudre from Bourjois

The packaging sold me really and the smell too. It smells like Chocolate or something sweet I don't know:( I'll be doing a review once I use this. 

This is in the shade 51.

5. L'oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara 

I got this mascara from a duty free in an airport but you can find it in priceline for $25.95 

I think this might be my favorite drugstore mascara, it gives me length and volume and it doesn't smudge on me at all. I can layer and layer and it doesn't clump whatsoever. As for the curls I already have curled lashes so I can't say anything about how it holds the curl or what not. Oh and this is in extra black! 

Bottom line is if you're looking for a drugstore mascara, I recommend this!

6. Bourjois Twist Up The Volume Mascara

The thing that drew me to this is the it has two side, you twist the top of the wand to change positions. The first position is when the brush becomes longer this gives length and separate the lashes and the second position is when the brush become shorter and slightly twisted this is to volumise the lashes. I love this mascara, it does a great job with my lashes and it is wet so that you can layer it without clumpsing your lashes. 

I don't know from where you can get this mascara in Australia but I got it from Sephora overseas.

7. Sephora, Cream Lip Stain

I love love LOVE this lip stain, the colour alone is amazing!! Just the perfect red colour, a classic red. Very opaque and dries to matte. I always get asked about this lip stain! 

It is a must have seriously!! 

هل حمره عجيبة عجيبة عجيبة !! و اللون حده عجيب لون الاحمر الكلاسيك وايد حلو بس تحطينها تصير مات  و ماتنشف الشفايف كلش وايد حبيتها و دايم يسالوني عنها!

8. Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye

I have yet to try this, will be posting a review as soon as I do.

9. Fijan Water Lotus Body Butter 

I haven't tried this yet but it smelled amazing at the store so I grabbed it. 

I don't know if you could find it in Australia yet. 

واخر شي خذيته هذا البودي بتر من ذا بودي شوب .. هذا من الكولكشين اليديد ليلحين ماجربته بس حبيت ريحته حيل! 

Bellabox - August 2014 review!

Hi there!

Another subscription box review, but this time I’m not impressed. So this is the first box I receive from bellabox and I can’t say I’m happy really, I haven’t received the stuff in their "Tiffany blue" box. The stuff where scattered in this box shown below, for a new subscriber I think I should have at least received the stuff in a proper box.

Anyhow let’s just move on to what’s inside.

This month’s theme is: Sport your style

1. Sleek Kajal Eyeliner

This highly pigmented crayon eyeliner is perfect for when you need to quickly freshen up. Create a strong defined line or dramatic smoky eye in seconds!

Kajal or Kohl eyeliners are highly pigmented eyeliners, they’re supposed to be much more black than other eyeliners. This has a creamy texture but it’s a bit messy, I would use it for smokey looks as it blends really well. I’ll give it a try on my waterline and let you guys know on twitter and instagram how I like it.

2. NATRALUS NATRASAN HAND SANITISER SPRAY VITAMEN E AND JOJOBA RRP $4.49

Keep your hands feeling clean and fresh with this beautifully scented hand sanitiser. The perfect handbag size, the spray is fast acting, long lasting and alcohol free.

I don’t mind the scent, but it claims to be beautifully scented and I personally don’t agree with that. It is an OK scent but not BEAUTIFUL!

It left my hand soft and the thing I love about this is that it is alcohol free!

3. UBER SECRETS EXFOLIANT GEL FOR OILY SKIN 40ml RRP 24.95

Give your skin a workout! This exfoliating gel contains exfocellia to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, re-texture, refine, nourish and create instant glowing and supple looking new skin.

I’m pretty excited to try this, I’ll let you guys know how it goes.

4. VASELINE ULTIMATE 10 ANTI-AGEING BODY LOTION 225 ml RRP $7.68

Show your body the same kind of love as you would for your face with ultimate 10. Expect firmer, hydrated skin, reduced dark marks, and a more refined skin texture.

Again I’ll be trying this and will mention in it an empties post because I think I need to try it a couple of times to actually review this. Let’s see if it actually does what is says.

5. MAYBELLINE COLOR SHOW NAIL LACQUER 7ml RRP $5.95

Straight from the runway to your fingertips, this nail polish will help you look instantly groomed and stylish. Wear it on your toes once the warm weather hits!

Now this is the product I’m most excited about, I love the colour so much that I tried it as soon as I saw it in the box. (I will post a picture of it soon on InstagramJ)

PALMER’S COCOA BODY BUTTER

I wanted to try this so long ago, I heard a lot of good reviews about this body butter so I can’t wait to try this and tell you guys what I think.

Overall, I like what I received from bellabox but I don’t think the stuff in the box complements the theme.
