2014 favourites!!!

I know I'm pretty late but I've been super busy the last couple of months!!!

Ok now I've got a range of products from beauty to foods! 

1- Boots cucumber facial wash

This has been my favourite cleanser of 2014, I used to use michael todd cleanser it was great at first but after a couple of weeks my skin started to get flaky and this didn't make me happy at ALL! I was on vacation and I ran out of my cleanser so I saw my mum using this and from the first time I tried it my flaky skin disappeared and from that moment on I kept using it and I loved it! 

It cleans really well and makes my skin so soft.

2- Mario Badescu alpha grapefruit cleaning lotion

I was looking for a toner after I ran out of my michael todd toner so the lady at mecca maxima told me to get this, I love that its alcohol free and its so gentle on the skin and I feel that my skin gets cleaner when using this after my cleanser.

3- First aid beauty facial radiance pads

This is by far the best exfoliator/brightening product ever!!! 

These are exfoliator pads that gently exfoliates your skin and brighten it. Every single exfoliator I used before this used to make my skin flaky, red and irritated but this one is amazing! It exfoliates really really well and doesn't irritate my skin whatsoever this is my third one and I don't think I'll ever replace it!! First aid beauty thanks a lot!!!

4- Bioderma micelle solution

I love this product, its so gentle on the eyes and doesn't sting at all and I especially love to put some on my cotton swabs to remove any mistake I did while putting my makeup it makes it a lot easier. I also would like to try the garnier one so many people recommonded it to me!! 

4- Chanel Le Lift crème fine

This moisturiser makes my skin super smooth like a baby's butt! And it gives my skin radiance and I've noticed that it tightens my pores which is aaahh-maazing. It is more on the pricer side but I think its worth every penny.

5- Lush popcorn lip scrub

This is basically a scrub but for your lips, i usually scrub my lips twice a week. Not only does it leave my skin super soft and smooth but it taste delicious! (You can actually lick it I know it sounds gross but it taste great!) 

6- Boots simply sensitive cleansing wipes

Best wipes I have used this year, they're so gentle on my skin yet they remove every single trace of makeup I have on. Beautiful just beautiful! 

7- Avène thermal spring water

I definitely soothes the skin, I especially use it on my face after laser hair removal and it soothes my skin a lot and reduces redness but I also spritz this on my face after makeup I don't know why but I always do that! 

Its great if you're mostly living in a hot climate you can spritz this whenever you're feeling hot. Its so refereshing and feels great! 

8- Allegra rhodes red lychee body mist

I have an instagram post talking about Allegra Rhodes products if you'd like to check them out. It has the right amount of musk, fruitiness, and floraly scents. I love spritzing this all over my body after I take my shower it smells amazing.

9- Brown Incense perfume

This has been my go to perfume, Its a mix of amber and oud. Its soooo long lasting, it'll stay on my clothes for daays! I've already repurchased this as I won't be able to find it in Australia.

10- Rausch Haartinktur hair lotion

I've spoken about this over and over again. Check my instagram or my previous posts for my review about this product.  HANDS DOWN THE BEST TONIC FOR HAIR GROWTH. Just keep on using it and you'll notice hair growth (baby hairs) in a week or two. Highly recommended! 

11- Batiste Dry Shampoo

I tried a lot of dry shampoo this year but this one was just different, It doesn't leave any residue, doesn't make my hair dull and it absorbs really quickly. It gives my hair a lot of texture also, I love this and for the time being I don't think there are better dry shampoos. 

12- Chou Chou toothy tabs 

I was in Dubai when I first got this, the lady at lush recommended it to me. I bought two different kinds, one for teeth whitening and one for sexy breath ( as the lady told me :) ). I do regret the one for teeth whitening as it tastes awful just awful and the after taste is disgusting, but this one I like the smell is absolutely beautiful, it cleans my teeth really well and I love the fact that these are all natural ingredients. Also, this for me is a genius invention because I travel a lot any toothpaste I take with me will make a mess in my luggage so the tablets are so convenient. 

13- Questbar protein bar

These for me are the best protein bars out there I tried lots of different protein bars and different flavours but questbar has the best flavours ever. I like the chocolate brownie flavour but I like the oreo one much more ( I ran out of my oreo protein bar so I couldn't take a photo). Anyhow, I take this after my workout sometimes I'll have my protein shake and sometimes I'll have the protein bar. It does have an after taste though but its not that bad. 

14- Hunter's hand cooked potato chips

This I used to have every other day as a healthy snack before I switched to paleo diet. It was so tasty and I loved it a lot and the good thing is that it doesn't have all those nasty things they put in a regular potato chips.

Beauty haul and reviews!

I've been so so busy especially for the past 2 weeks planning something major, exams, uni and all but I'm back now.

I got some skincare, hair-care and makeup reviews for you guys today...


1- Flake Away body polish and the righteous butter body butter

In the past I have used the breakfast scrub from soap and glory, I loved the smell when I first bought it but then I don't know what happened to me I couldn't tolerate the smell at all even though it was a good scrub it got rid of my dead skin and left my body so soft and smooth but I couldn't get over the smell it was just unbearable I thought it was too sweet for me so then I came across this scrub from soap and glory it has there Original pink fragrance which I freakin' love!!

I have been using this for the past week so I have only used it three times but I love it. It got rid of all my dead skin and left my body so so so soft like a baby's butt!! And I've definitely noticed some improvement with the little black dots I get on my legs that are so annoying I can't even explain how annoying these are... but I've seen less of them since I started using this scrub I'm hoping it'll get rid of them all if I continued using it!
I highly highly recommend this scrub!

I also got the body butter from soap and glory and this is the first time I use a body butter from them, oh my oh my what can I say about this product! I use this after using the scrub it says to use it onto damp skin but I just can't stand the feeling of it so I use it after I dry body and it leaves my skin so smooth and the combined scent of both the body butter and the scrub makes the smell stays on for so so long.

2- No clogs allowed mask

It says to wet hand and scrub until the mask heats up and turn blue but I find that it doesn't heat up unless I'm scrubbing and it doesn't turn blue either. It didn't get rid of my blackheads also but I find that it leaves my skin super soft and clean (everywhere else but my nose, weird!)

Would I repurchase it? I don't think so but it might work on others differently I don't know.

3- Rausch haartinktur hair lotion

In looooooveee with this product! I genuinely love this... I have been using it for about two weeks now everyday on my roots and I'm def seeing some hair growth (baby hairs) I cannot imagine after using it for so long what will the results be!

This combined with the Isvara shampoo works beautifully on my hair!

Would repurchase again and again and again!

4- Make up forever HD foundation
 

Looks natural when applied with a beauty blender, blends beautifully, gives a dewy finish but after two or three hours my face becomes oily again so I have to retouch more than once through the day.

5- Winter candy apple shower gel

The smells absolutely delicious but too bad the smell doesn't stay for long I think I might need to get the lotion as well if I wanted the smell to stay on me for longer. It makes my body so smooth as well. I really like it but I wish the smell would stay on for longer. 

6- L'occitane Angelica Hydra Vital Cream

I was in the hunt for a new moisturiser after my michael todd moisturiser ran out so I got this from L'occitane, its just a normal moisturiser for me nothing too major but I find that my skin goes oily when I apply it so I'm not sure if I like it or not.
